Magnificent view of the ocean and Whiteway Shag Rocks. On a the right day you can listen to the birds on the rock and perhaps see a whale. Then of course on many days you will see a Blazing Horizon at sunset.

Accommodations Blazing Horizon Cottages, located on the scenic Baccalieu Trail, in Whiteway, Newfoundland, offering fully equipped two-bedroom, three-bedroom, and four-bedroom oceanfront cottages where you will experience breathtaking blazing horizons! Located just 15 km north of Dildo and 120 km from St. John’s YYT.
Rental Policy All cottages must be reserved using a valid credit card. If no credit card is available upon check in, payment can be made by debit or cash with an additional damage deposit of $200. This damage deposit will be returned once premises have been checked by staff and / or management and found to be acceptable state based on house rules.
Check-in/Check-out and Length of Stay Policy Check-in from 3 p.m. onward and check-out is at 11:00 a.m. $50 charge will be applied for late check-out. We can offer flexibility upon request and waive this fee if approved in advance. 2-Night minimum booking required on weekends and 3-Night minimum on holiday weekends unless otherwise advertised or available. Weekends refer to Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Damage and Theft Policy We reserve the right to charge your credit card for any damages incurred to your cottage or suite during your stay.
House Rules Upon check-out bag all trash, leave kitchen clean including dishes, remove any purchased food from the refrigerator, and leave remotes where you found them. Also ensure lights, heat, and countertop appliances are turned off. Breaking house rules with result in an additional $100 cleaning fee charge.
Pet & Smoking Policy All accommodations are smoke-free with NO EXCEPTIONS. Pets are welcome in the designated cottage.

We do not want your deposit, we do however want your business. Deposits protect our business against permanent loss of potential revenue due to cancellations and protect the guests that they do in fact have the room they requested when they arrive.

Deposit of $50.00 per night required using major credit card with reservation.
Balance to be paid using the major credit card provided within 36 hours of arrival.
A refund of 50% of deposit if cancelled 30 days or more before arrival date.
Early departures are considered cancellations therefore no refund will be given.

Rescheduling of booking dates is permitted without penalty providing the new date is during the same season as the initial booking and is based upon availability. This is a one-time credit or transfer only.
